Paris, Here We Come: True Rippers Open MSC 2026 Against Team Vitality

The wait is nearly over. After conquering India at ML Masters Series Season 1, True Rippers are heading to the biggest stage in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang — the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 (MSC 2026), live from Paris, France, as part of the Esports World Cup 2026.

This is history. For the first time ever, the Mid Season Cup steps outside Asia, and for the first time, True Rippers carry the Indian flag onto a stage this big. Here's everything you need to know before we go to war.

The venue and the stakes

MSC 2026 is being played at the Lenovo Legion Gauntlet stage inside the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Hall 1) — a massive exhibition arena in the heart of the French capital. The tournament was originally set for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before being relocated to Paris on May 20, 2026.

Sixteen of the world's best teams are here, chasing a total prize pool of over $3 million, with $1 million going to the champion — plus 1,000 club points toward the Esports World Cup Club Championship standings. This is as high as the stakes get in mid-season MLBB.

The format — how the Group Stage works

The Group Stage kicks off on July 22, 2026. Here's how it breaks down:

16 teams, split into two groups of eight (Group A and Group B).Each group runs a double-elimination bracket, with every match a best-of-three (Bo3).The top four teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage; the bottom four in each group are eliminated.A big twist rewards dominance: teams that make it through with a 2–0 record earn the right to choose their quarterfinal opponent from the pool of teams that advanced 2–1. Selection order is decided by game-win differential, then total winning time — so every clean sweep and every minute on the clock matters.

From there, the Knockout Stage shifts to single-elimination best-of-five, building toward a best-of-seven Grand Final on August 1, with a third-place match on the side.

Our opening match is a statement fixture. On Day 1 — July 22 — True Rippers face Team Vitality, the MPL Indonesia Season 17 champions (formerly competing as Bigetron). Indonesia is one of the strongest MLBB regions on the planet, and Vitality arrive as one of the tournament favourites.

But in a double-elimination format, one result never ends the story — there's always a path forward, and we intend to fight for every inch of it.
