We Did It: True Rippers Win MLMS Season 1 and Qualify for MSC 2026 at the Esports World Cup

There are nights a team remembers forever, and for us at True Rippers, this is one of them. Under the lights of the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, in front of a roaring home crowd, we lifted the ML Masters Series (MLMS) Season 1 trophy — and with it, punched our ticket to the world stage.

We are the champions of India. And we are Paris-bound.

A Grand Final for the ages

The Grand Final against GodLike Esports was everything a best-of-five deserves to be. Nothing came easy, and nothing was handed to us.

We opened strong and took Game 1, exactly the start we wanted. GodLike hit back in Game 2 to level the series — a reminder that they'd earned their place in this final the hard way. We steadied ourselves and reclaimed the lead in Game 3, only for GodLike to force a decider by taking Game 4.

It came down to a single game. One map. Everything on the line. And when the dust settled, it was True Rippers standing tall — 3–2 champions of MLMS Season 1.

This wasn't just a win, it made history. Our Grand Final drew a peak of 21,046 viewers, becoming the first match in Indian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports to cross the 20,000 peak-viewer mark. India was watching, and we're proud we gave them a series worth watching.

The road to the trophy

Champions aren't crowned in the final alone. Through the League Stage, our squad set the pace, finishing at the very top of the table with a commanding 6–1 record — the best in the tournament. That form carried into the playoffs, where we swept Revenant XSpark 2–0 in the Semifinals to march into the Grand Final without dropping a map.

GodLike more than earned their shot at us. They powered past Crux Requiem 2–0 in the Quarterfinals, then edged S8UL Esports 2–1 in a tight Semifinal to set up the showdown everyone wanted. Two of India's biggest organizations, one trophy, no shortcuts.

We also salute every team in the bracket — S8UL, Revenant XSpark, Crux Requiem, Autobotz, and the rest. MLMS Season 1 raised the bar for Indian MLBB, and this whole roster of talent is why viewership records fell this year.

What the win earns us

Winning MLMS Season 1 brought home the champions' share of the $50,000 prize pool — $18,000 to True Rippers. But the trophy and the prize money aren't the biggest prize of the night. The biggest prize is the plane ticket.

As MLMS Season 1 champions, we've directly qualified for the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026, one of the most prestigious international tournaments in the Mobile Legends calendar and a headline title of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.

Next stop: Paris

For the first time ever, the Mid Season Cup heads to Europe. MSC 2026 will be held in Paris, France, as part of the Esports World Cup — running from July 1 to August 1, 2026, with the biggest teams on the planet fighting over a prize pool north of $3 million.

This is uncharted territory for Indian MLBB, and we get to carry the flag. We'll be lining up against the best rosters in the world on one of esports' grandest stages. We know how tough it will be — and we wouldn't want it any other way. India has a seat at the table now, and True Rippers intends to make the country proud.
