TRUE RIPPERS WELCOMES CHUFENG AS NEW JUNGLER AHEAD OF KIC INDIA QUALIFIER 2026
True Rippers Esports is excited to officially welcome Aron Purba, better known as Chufeng, as the newest addition to our Honor of Kings roster for the upcoming KIC India Qualifier 2026.
Hailing from Indonesia, Chufeng is a young and emerging talent with international competitive experience across multiple roles. While he has experience adapting to different positions, he currently specializes as a Jungler, bringing an aggressive and flexible playstyle to the True Rippers lineup.
A NEW CHAPTER FOR OUR JUNGLE
The arrival of Chufeng comes after a challenging period for True Rippers following the departure of our previous Jungler, Happy.
Happy, our Malaysian Jungler, was an important part of the team's journey, but visa-related complications made it extremely difficult to bring him back in time for the KIC India Qualifier 2026. With the tournament approaching, the organization conducted an extensive search across multiple players to find someone capable of fitting into the existing system.
After evaluating several options, Chufeng emerged as the player who best matched the team's requirements.
His game style, approach to the Jungle role, and communication ability were key factors behind the decision to bring him into the lineup. The team believes his ability to communicate and adapt within the existing system will allow for a smoother integration with the Indian core.
JOINING THE INDIAN CORE
Chufeng will soon travel to India, where he will join the team's existing Indian core at the True Rippers bootcamp.
With limited time before the KIC India Qualifier 2026, the immediate focus will be on building chemistry, understanding the team's systems, and developing strong in-game coordination ahead of the competition.
The entire roster is looking forward to seeing how Chufeng's presence will influence the team's gameplay and how quickly the new Jungler can establish himself within the lineup.
A LOAN FOR KIC INDIA QUALIFIER 2026
Chufeng joins True Rippers on loan from PT. DUSKMAVEN ESPORTS INDONESIA specifically for the duration of the KIC India Qualifier 2026 campaign.
While the current arrangement is for the event period, his performances during the qualifier will also be an important part of determining the possibility of a permanent move to True Rippers through an official buyout following the tournament.
For now, the focus remains firmly on KIC India Qualifier 2026 and preparing the strongest possible lineup for the competition.
WELCOME TO TRUE RIPPERS, CHUFENG
From Indonesia to India, a new journey begins.
The True Rippers family welcomes Aron Purba “Chufeng” to the roster, and we look forward to seeing him step onto the battlefield alongside our Indian core.
New jungler. New chemistry. Same ambition.
Welcome to True Rippers, Chufeng.
